Directed by Aleks Pevec from the book by John O’Farrell and Karey Kirkpatrick, Something Rotten! follows brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom as they strive to create a hit play amidst the towering legacy of "The Bard." A local soothsayer predicts that the future of theatre involves singing, dancing, and acting simultaneously, prompting the brothers to write the world's first musical. As they prepare for opening night, they discover that true success comes from staying authentic.

For this production, I focused on sourcing period-appropriate furniture, ensuring that every piece accurately reflected the setting. For items that couldn't be sourced, I created plans to build them, I designed multiple graphics for these props and signage, enhancing the show's visual storytelling. In pre-production I organized the prop lists and worked on putting together the 3D-printed model. I fabricated many of the props such as the feather fans and taro card sign. Additionally, I built and painted larger items, such as fake beams, scenic flats and vendor carts.
