Here Comes Santa Claus Right Down Santa Claus Lane

The music video follows Jill Schoelen and her friends Judie Aronson, Barbara Crampton, Krsy Fox, and Diane Franklin, as they gather to celebrate the holidays. When sinister little elves crash the party, it’s up to Santa Claus who is played by WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk, to step in and save these iconic Final Girls.

For this music video, my creative direction was to make it feel as though Christmas had exploded and completely enveloped the space. I worked across two primary locations, fully wrapping and trimming all furniture to create an immersive, over-the-top holiday environment while dressing the rest of the space.

I incorporated artificial snow throughout both spaces and frosted the windows to enhance the wintry atmosphere. In select scenes, we extended the design directly onto the actors by wrapping them in Christmas lights, garlands, etc. I also fabricated specialty props, including custom name-branded stockings and built Santa's legs for the later special effects. For the attic location, I suspended over 50 ornaments from the ceiling and fully dressed the room from top to bottom, creating a rich and cozy holiday bedroom for cut in shots.
